I'm excited to announce the public release of the PriceGuide.Cards Android application. An Android mobile application has been a highly requested feature and I'm very excited to showcase it to you here.
Highly intuitive and user friendly, the new app has been designed to help you look up card prices as efficiently as possible and to give you a better experience on the move.
The starting screen of the application is the same icons you will be familiar with from the home page of PriceGuide.Cards. The scope of sports in the price guide has been continuously growing and now cover Soccer, Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Mixed Martial Arts, Wrestling and Tennis.
In addition to tracking the sales prices of sports trading cards, www.PriceGuide.Cards also tracks the after-market activity of expected box break returns for soccer card collections, providing collectors with important information such as the box's overall ‘Return on Investment’ (ROI) and actual sales values of autograph and memorabilia cards.
The goal is to help collectors make informed decisions about investment in various card collections.
The Box Breaks page can be accessed from the PriceGuide.cards home page under the “Stats” section. Click 'READ MORE' below to continue reading...
The latest addition to PriceGuide.Cards is Wrestling.
The coverage is limited at the moment but soon it will expand to cover all the WWF, WWE Wrestling cards ever produced.
I'm looking for other people in the trading card community to get involed with this price guide. I'm no wrestling card expert my forte is Soccer cards, so get in touch.
I've deciced to kick off with two classic sets by Topps. Appropriactly the first set was the first to be licensed by the WWF - 1985 Topps WWF Pro Wrestling Stars. Following it up two years later is 1987 Topps WWF.
Now that the WWE has distanced it's self from Hulk Hogan it looks like dedicated insert sets of his will become a thing of the past. Keep watching these early Hulk Hogan cards for price rices.
A number of more recent wrestling collections have been included you can browse through these on the home page search tool or check out each collections indivdual page here.
It’s been a while since my last blog post, as you may have noticed the site has undergone some significant changes. Most notably, the site is now not only focused on Soccer trading cards, also in the database are collections for Baseball, Basketball, American Football and Hockey. I have started by adding in the most recent releases for all of these collections, there are about 130 different collections on PriceGuide.Cards now with a total of almost 400,000 different cards.
Although this isn't a sport that I set out to cover I couldnt help but include the latest 2014 Panini Flawless Football (US).
From the statistical side of things I was intrigued what affect the issues over memorabilia would have on prices.
For those of you who may have missed this unfolding, you can read the press releases issued by panini here:
and the thread on blowoutcards:
The cards that follow are those of players who have been discussed:
The Topps Premier Gold 2014-15 collection has now been added to the PriceGuide.Cards database. You can track the value of these cards as the secondary market decides what they are worth.
The collection contains a grand total of 2020 different cards including all the parallels.
Soon to come will be the expected box break value chart, you can use this to help inform you about your purchasing decision.
If you happen to spot anything out of place drop me a message and I will check it out.
Enjoy the free priceguide,
2014 - Topps - Premier Gold - Premier Autographs - Standard - Adam Lallana
2014 - Topps - Premier Gold - Premier Autographs - Standard - Andre Wisdom

Some useful statistics that PriceGuide.Cards is able to produce, besides only charts of football card values, is insight into the short prints that were produced in a collection.
For the 2014 Panini prizm World Cup collection, using the number of recorded transactions a good estimate of what the autograph short prints are can be deduced. Some things like a single card being traded more than once can not be taken into account but all cards are treated equally in this aspect.
